But do you REALLY know better

But do you REALLY know better

Justifying that your preference is superior only exhausts you- it actually doesn't help anyone.

Here at the Body Acceptance Project, our aim is to get better and better at accepting ourselves: looks, size, shape, strengths, weaknesses- all of it. Acceptance is a muscle that can be strengthened in lots of different ways. Accepting life, as it is, is the first step to feeling better, no matter what is going on.

If you find yourself resisting your body- “it should look this way” or even “it should function this way,” you may benefit from flexing your acceptance muscle in other areas, too.
