The purpose of the human body is to facilitate the body's energy pathway , (energy input, energy storage, work output, and heat release), in order to maintain the conditions necessary for life and allow you to accomplish those things which are important to you.
In other words, our bodies exist for movement.
I usually use the word “movement” because I mean so much more than exercise when I’m talking about moving. Even more than walking from point A to point B. The movement that the quote above refers to includes the movement of our heart beating and our arteries and veins pumping blood. It includes our eyes dilating when light changes around us. It includes the goose bumps that emerge from our skin when it’s below 70 degrees in Texas, or when it is actually cold anywhere else. Our bodies are constantly moving, whether we like it or not.
This week, let’s look at what has created our beliefs about movement.
