Where are you in your process?

Where are you in your process?

Sorry, this is not something you finish.

It is wrong to think that Body Acceptance is an end or completion. As women, our bodies shift and change everyday. This means that for us, Body Acceptance is a process of always becoming and changing, while maintaining positive regard for ourselves.

This week, I’m providing some journaling prompts to consider. These highlight the truth of growth and healing as a process, not an end point. Journaling works great for some, but if you don’t connect to therapeutic writing, talk through these questions with yourself when you are alone in the car, on a walk, or otherwise by yourself. Of course you can talk about these questions with someone else, but it is useful to write or talk through them on your own first, so that you can examine your own thoughts and feelings without input from someone else.

“Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want, and this mentality of focusing on the positive will propel you onto a path of incredible growth and fulfillment. “
