I moved to Austin from L.A. before everyone else did.
Probably not, but telling myself that keeps the guilt at bay when I hear anybody who has lived in Austin longer than me complain about Californians hiking up the cost of living and filling every road with bumper-to-bumper traffic.
On that note, traffic is one thing I was striving to leave behind in sunny SoCal.
Of course, I didn’t. I am in my car 1-2 hours several days a week. I am able to accept all this time in my car with the help of podcasts.
Some of the podcasts are news. Some are fun, light or humorous. Some of them provide info and ideas for Body Acceptance Project posts.
If you are a consumer of the pods, you have some favorites of your own. Did you realize you can be increasing your self-acceptance with what you listen to on your drive, your jog, or while you are shopping for groceries?
From looking at how we feel about food to living in a queer body, to enjoying success without a focus on size, there are several podcasts that address varying reasons it can be so hard to feel okay about the way we look.
